May 2013
We are devastated to announce the death of Everett Oliver, General Manager and founder of Oliver Machine Products/O&M Products.
Everett was born on August 11, 1930 in Chickasha, OK. He started Oliver Machine Products in September of 1965, with the help of his parents Everett, Sr. and Mary. In 1992 he retired and sold the business to Shirley Herdlitka. Retirement wasn't really his "thing" and he soon returned to the company as a Consultant and then General Manager. He loved classic cars (NOT hotrods) and took great care and enjoyment in restoring them to their prior glory.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; 5 children, 13 grand-children, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
